FAIRBROTHER WANTS FORCE TO BACK IN GAME PLAN

Emirates Western Force prop Tim Fairbrother is confident of a win this Sunday against the Reds as long as the team trusts their game plans and structures.

Fairbrother has made a good impact already early in his career in Perth and had a solid start to his Force days this season after earning 58 caps with the Hurricanes.

While a win hasn’t come the Force's way so far this season against the Brumbies, Hurricanes or Chiefs, Fairbrother wants to see the team follow to a tee what they are trying to do and some results should follow.

"We just have to get into it and get a win, and trust our patterns and game plan," Fairbrother said.

"We just have to trust what we're doing and what we're doing is more about that. We had a good review of the game and there were a few areas that we just need to brush up on. We have to trust the game plan."

Fairbrother feels that the bye last week leading into Sunday's clash at Suncorp Stadium came at the right time for the Force to go over things and get what they are trying to do right.

Fairbrother also wants to make sure the players take responsibility for their mistakes during games, and not blame the losses on injuries or any other changes.

"I think it was important just to regather as a group so that we can get things rolling again. Obviously we haven’t won in the last three games so we've had a good regroup and talk about it, and a couple of really good training sessions last week," he said.

"A little bit of the changes and injuries affected things a bit, but primarily we missed some tackles at the wrong time and did some things wrong in the game. We can't really blame anyone but ourselves and we are well aware of that."

Even though the Reds have made a good start to the season with two wins from four games and a heartbreaking loss to the Waratahs, Fairbrother is confident of a good Force showing and that the boys in blue can build momentum from there with three straight home games.

"My expectations are unlimited. I think we can keep building and we just need to go out there to get a win, and keep winning. The thing with Super 14 is that any team beats anyone it's such a tight competition and we just need to keep rolling," he said.

"I think I'm confident, but the Reds are playing really well and you can't take that away from them. Their form has shown that and we've just been worried about ourselves more than them. We just need to play well as a team."
