RugbyWA staged its annual Level Two Coaching course at Harvey Field Cottesloe for 23 club and school coaches over the weekend. The Level Two course is the first step in the process for coaches to obtain their Level Two accreditation which is ratified by the Australian Sports Commission.
The course was a great opportunity for participants to gain an insight into the latest techniques and tactics used by some of Australia’s best coaches including Emirates Western Force Head Coach and former All Black’s Coach John Mitchell, EWF Assistant Coach and Wallabies Assistant Coach Richard Graham, EWF General Manager of Rugby and former Wallaby Mitch Hardy, EWF Scrum Coach Matt Tink and EWF Academy Strength and Conditioning Coach Warren Andrews.
Further to this participants were also able to gain a players perspective into coaching issues with EWF players Mark Bartholomeuz, Sam Harris and Andre Pretorius attending. RugbyWA Development Officer’s and First Grade players Cruze Ah-Nau and Tobias Hoskins were also completing their Level Two accreditation.
